Welcome to Uncommon People, The DNA of Sheffield Music.

Uncommon People is an ambitous new project to document Sheffield’s ever changing music scene, in association with Sensoria Festival, enabled by Screen Yorkshire and the UK Film Council’s Digital Film Archive Fund, supported by the National Lottery.

Uncommon People is designed to trace a history of Sheffield’s music with a site that will become rich in visuals from footage to photos.

We are putting out a call for submissions from the public to contribute to this project, so if you have an old ticket to a show you went to, a photo of a band, or if you just want to share your experiences of Sheffield’s vibrant music scene, please contribute to Uncommon People!
